01 About ABYA and ABYA LEAPS 2021
We are a youth organisation that aims to help youths navigate ASEAN and explore its endless opportunities. Our vision is to be a leading youth organisation that nurtures future ASEAN business leaders and our mission is to empower a community of ASEAN youths to work and communicate effectively with people regionally, through cross-cultural training, exposure, application and networking.
ABYA was one of the 3 winning teams of the Youth Action Challenge in 2020 and are powered by Young NTUC and the National Youth Council.

All participants who register and submit will be given a certificate of participation. Participants from the top 5 teams will be awarded a certificate of achievement.
Each team can only make 1 submission.
Each participant can only join 1 team.

02 Eligibility and Team Formation
The Contest is open to individuals who:
Are nationals of ASEAN member countries (includes Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam)
Tertiary students/ Institute of Higher Learning from all majors
No, participants have to be currently enrolled undergraduates at the point of registration.
No, ABYA will review the profiles of all applicants, engage in a matching process and assign applicants to the respective Partner Organisations. This is to encourage diversity and inclusion within the teams.
A registration confirmation email will be sent to you after you have signed up for the competition. If you did not receive it, please write to us at email@example.com to check your registration status.
Registration opens 17th May 2021 and closes on 16th June 2021 (Thursday), 23:59 (GMT+8).

After submitting your entry, no additions or substitutions to team members are allowed.

04 Workshop Details [Phase 1]
Training workshops will equip and support students across the ASEAN region with knowledge and relevant skills demanded in recent times, especially in response to Covid-19. The workshops will assist participants for the business challenge.
Registrations for the workshops will be opened soon. We will inform the participants containing details and registration forms for the workshops.
The workshops are opened to the public , including those who did not register for the business challenge. However, priority will be given to those who signed up for the business challenge.
No, participants are not required to attend all the workshops however it is highly encouraged that you join.
Exact workshop dates and time will be released soon on our webpage.
The workshops will be conducted online. A zoom link will be sent to participants closer to the workshop date.
Participants will receive an email containing details and registration forms for the workshops.
Shortlisted participants will receive a separate confirmation email for a slot in the workshop.
Workshops will be recorded solely for internal purposes but will not be shared.
Materials may be shared at the discretion of the presenter of the session. This will only be available to the attendees of the session.
