Wei Liang serves on the Executive Committee of Social Impact Catalyst and Advisor for ASEAN Youth Organisation leading partnerships for the organisation and mentoring aspiring social entrepreneurs.

She is an educator at heart and has extensive experience in both the education and non-profit sector focused on youth development through Service-Learning and Community Engagement, experiential learning and corporate giving. She has facilitated Design Thinking programmes for institutes of higher learning in Singapore where students are presented with numerous opportunities to join international partner institutions in social innovation projects across ASEAN to support overseas grassroots communities.

She earned her PhD in psychology from the Nanyang Technological University in 2017. Tania believes strongly in applying psychological principles to understand social and community-level phenomena. She also teaches the Global Human Resource course at SUSS that necessarily takes a cultural perspective on global mobility. A Singaporean born and raised in India and an avid traveller, she has had rich personal cultural experiences that she brings into her teaching of intercultural communication and competence.
